Bill Murray Delights Fan as He Joins in on Private Karaoke Party

(HMG Celebrity News) – This immediately reminded me of Bill Murray’s great role in ‘Lost in Translation,’  and how spontaneous he can be. A very lucky reader sent photos, and an interesting story to humor site The Chive, that describes a crazy night at Karaoke One 7 in New York City.  Essentially, the reader Mike Impollonia and his pals were hanging out when they saw Murray and invited him to join them in their private room. It was a great gesture, but one they didn’t expect the actor to accept, until there was a knock at their door 15 minutes later. Murray, along with his “really cute” unnamed Dutch date, came in and stayed the entire time, 4 hours.  Bill seemed to have a great time and bought everyone some weird green drink and wouldn’t tell them what it was. Mike later found out it was Chartreuse, a French liqueur made by monks. Mike’s high point of the evening was when and Bill sang a duet of Elvis’ “Marie’s the Name,” but apparently Murray did not reprise his version of Roxy Music’s “More Than This” from the karaoke scene in Lost in Translation.  Photos at: The Chive
