Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal have broken up

(HMG Celebrity News) – That didn’t last long.  Celebrity couple Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal have reportedly broken-up after a whirlwind romance that lasted just 2 months. The two, who began dating in October, ended their brief fling last month and spent Christmas apart, according to the ever reliable People Magazine.

According to US Magazine it was Jake, 30, who put the brakes on the relationship with the 21-year-old country superstar, partly because of the age difference.

‘He said he wasn’t feeling it anymore and was uncomfortable with all the attention they got.’

‘He also said he could feel the age difference. Taylor is really upset. We told her not to move so fast with this but she didn’t listen.’

‘Jake cares about her, but [the publicity] was a lot for him. He wants to keep his private life private, and that’s hard to do dating Taylor.’

And he got involved with her after dating Reese Witherspoon and didn’t think there would be privacy issues? Or reading between the lines was Taylor and her reps. too eager to share too many details?
