(HMG Celebrity News) - Scottish singer/songwriter Gerry Rafferty has died at the age of 63, after being gravely ill with liver disease, according to the Guardian.
Rafferty’s main claim to fame perhaps was the multi-million-selling 1978 hit Baker Street, from his second solo album, City to City, recorded In 1978, which also included hits “Home and Dry” and “Right Down the Line”
But he also co-wrote the awesome, ‘Stuck In The Middle With You’ in 1972 while with the band Stealers Wheel, that got popular again thanks to its iconic and gruesome placement in the 1992 Quentin Tarantino classic “Reservoir Dogs.”

Gerry’s music inspired me and I felt compelled to pay tribute to him today with a portrait. You can see it at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/01/in-memoriam-gerry-rafferty.html and let me know what you think.
I missed this this past week! I loved that song as a kid! Rest in peace, Gerry.
