Meg Ryan Dating John Mellencamp?

(HMG Celebrity News) – I find this one hard to believe, but there is some speculation (courtesy of Page Six) that Meg Ryan is providing a leaning shoulder for about to be single John Mellencamp.  News broke over Christmas that the Indiana rocker was splitting with wife Elaine Irwin after 20 years of marriage.   The report said that Mellencamp and Ryan were spotted walking arm-in-arm in NYC’s TriBeCa in October, and that Ryan has dropped in backstage at a few of Mellencamp’s shows. Mellencamp said he was working on a musical, “Ghost Brothers of Darkling County,” and that Ryan was one of the actors.  Meg has had some notoriety in the past.  In 2008 Ryan split from husband Dennis Quad admitting to an affair with actor Russell Crowe and alleging that Quaid had been unfaithful for years.
