Jennifer Aniston snubs Chelsea Handler, demands ‘space’

[HMG Celebrity News] – As you may recall, Jennifer Aniston and Chelsea Handler recently staged a press-friendly cat fight in which Jennifer got quite upset over Handler’s comments regarding Angelina Jolie. Well, in chapter two it seems Jennifer has now shunned her former friend for the outburst.

“Jen and Chelsea haven’t fallen out but they won’t be going on vacation together for a long time unless Chelsea promises not to talk about Angelina again,” a friend of Handler’s tells PopEater. “She understands what Chelsea did was out of loyalty, but it just made things worse.”

The spat centers on a performance by 35-year old Chelsea in New Jersey on December 3rd. During the show she called Angelina ‘a bitch’ and other choice phrases. The snag is, she’d just spent Thanksgiving with Jennifer in Mexico, and Jen wasn’t pleased by the payback.

“Jen is a very private person,” says a friend of the actress. “It’s one thing to trash Angelina in private, but it’s quite another to do it in public. Chelsea should have known better.”

And it gets better – Jennifer was in Atlanta last fall, shooting her next movie ‘Wanderlust’ with Paul Rudd, and sources claim the actress demanded ‘personal space.’

“It was an unspoken thing that you couldn’t get within 20ft of Jennifer,” says the snitch. “She surrounded herself with a ring of minders at all times. She traveled with them from her trailer to the set and back.”

Aniston’s rep rejects the claim as invented, and says; “Jennifer had a blast filming Wanderlust.”

But the 41-year old might want to work on these fears –  Another source says she’s planning a move to New York, which is already home to 8.4 million people.

Personally, I say the spat with Chelsea is a mutual back-rub to get media, and this story of wanting ‘space’ is equally transparent and comic. But let’s hear your views…
