George Lopez Wants To Be Mayor of Los Angeles

(HMG Celebrity News) – California is kind of known for entertainers becoming elected officials, and apparently comedian George Lopez wants to follow in the steps of  Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ronald Reagan.

Lopez told the Fox 11 news show “Good Day L.A.” on Tuesday there’s no reason he can’t be LA’s mayor, but that he doesn’t think he could pass the background check right now, but he wants to run for mayor in eight years.

The talk show host says he’ll be a sort of a “Lo-bama” instead of an Obama. He won’t want to make change – he’ll just want change, especially all those coins people stash in empty water-cooler bottles at home.
