Chris Brown proudly Tweets finishing domestic violence course
[HMG Celebrity News] – In what will hopefully be the final scene of this long-running drama, singer Chris Brown has completed the domestic-violence course imposed by a court after his assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna. And he was so happy he posted the proof on Twitter.
“I’m done with class,” the 21-year old told his 1.1-million followers, and added a link to the certificate that proves he’d completed the class.
A few hours later he added a post, reflecting on how life has changed since the incident happened.
“I have enough self respect and decency to be proud of accomplishing this class,” he tweeted. “Boys run from their mistakes. Men learn from them!”
In August of 2009, Chris was sentenced to six months community labor, five years probation and the one-year class for the assault on Rihanna on February 8th of 2009.
He was also ordered to pay fines, banned from any contact for five years, and must stay at least 100-yards away from her at all times.
Rihanna has so far made no response to this rather unique graduation, but that may not be the case for too long.
Meantime, what’s your view on this news – Do you think the sentence was right and are do you think it is time to forgive and forget?…
