Bret Michaels Finally Proposes to Longtime Girlfriend

(HMG Celebrity News) – With all he’s been through lately this seems so long overdue.   Bret Michaels finally asked his on-off girlfriend of 16 years, Kristi Gibson, to marry him and he did it for all to witness.  The Poison rocker got down on his knee, on Monday night’s season finale of his VH1 reality show, ‘Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It.’ and asked Gibson the mother of his 2 daughters to be his wife: “Please say yes or the rejection will kill me right now,” he pleaded. Of course, she said yes. Michaels denied back in July that he and Gibson were engaged despite reports implying they were headed for marriage. Now that it is official, congrats!
