‘Smallville’ Actor Sam Jones III Pleads Guilty to Oxy Trafficking

(HMG Celebrity News) – Actor Sam Jones III is potentially facing some serious jailtime. Best known as Clark Kent’s former pal on the long-running Superman series, he has been mostly in the headlines of late as Playboy Playmate Karrissa Shannon’s (photo right) boyfriend and sex tape partner.  But Jones, 27, was busted at his Canoga Park, Calif., home last year for allegedly trying to sell the blue painkiller oxycodone, otherwise known as “hillbilly heroin.”  The feds arrested him after determining he was the “Hollywood connection” involved in a ring’s illegal purchasing and distribution of the drugs.  And today Jones plead guilty in Los Angeles federal court to conspiracy to sell more than 10,000 oxycodone pills, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.  Jones now faces up to 20 years behind bars when he is sentenced in June.
