Real Housewives’ Catherine Ommanney claims tryst with Prince Harry

[HMG Celebrity News] – The announcement of Prince William’s bond with Kate Middleton created acres of press, and now ‘Real Housewives of D.C.’ actress Catherine Ommanney is trying to share the spotlight by claiming she’s dated Prince Harry.

Ommanney’s ex-nanny, Monica Herrero tells Radar she was hired to babysit Catherine’s two children, Ruby and Jade while the actress went on two dates with the heir to Britain’s throne – way back in 2007.

“Although she was my boss she would share things with me,” says the minder. “Like what happened with Prince Harry. She would show me messages he sent her, and told me he wanted them to travel around the world.”

Ommanney was married and based in London at the time. But the nanny says the husband had fled to Menorca, And despite already having a boyfriend, Catherine would brag to the nanny about flirting with several men – including her claims of the Prince.

“While I was living with her, a car with a chauffeur came for her, twice,” says Herrero. “Her daughters would tell me, ‘This is the car Prince Harry sends for mummy.’”

Between burnishing her ego on reality shows, Catherine works as an interior designer. And that, so she claims, is how she met Harry.

“Catherine told me she once kissed Prince Harry in a bathroom,” says Herrero. “She told me she met him because she was doing interior design for him, though I never saw her do any work.”

And displaying a talent for fantasy that would shame Hans Christian Andersen, the lady herself is proud of the tale; She claimed they made contact during a design consultation;

“He was holding me off the floor and kissing me,” so her story goes. “I was speechless. I was against the wall, and he literally lifted me off the floor and gave me a kiss. Afterwards I didn’t say anything. I was completely blown away.”

But Herrero says she never placed much stock in her employer’s story, which was clearly the right move;

“She was my boss, not my friend.”

It’s widely agreed that reality shows are the refuge of people whose egos outstrip their talents, but this is excessive even for those shallow waters. And it should be no surprise that Ommanney’s now trying to sell a tell-all book.

But what’s your opinion of these claims?…
