(HMG Celebrity News) – The Daily Mail reports actors David Thewlis and Anna Friel have split up after nine years together. They have one child, 5-year-old daughter Gracie.  Thewlis and Friel will appear together in the upcoming film ‘London Boulevard,’ also featuring Keira Knightley and Colin Farrell.  But ironically sources say the couple have been apart for the last six months due to acting commitments, not to mention Friel was spotted kissing Joseph Cross, 23, last December. At the time Friel denied any romance an said that Cross, who was a co-star in the West End play ‘Breakfast at Tiffany,’ was just a friend. Things got strange when afterward Cross moved into the couple’s Hollywood home in April, but Thewlis was quoted as saying, “Joseph is a good friend of mine. I have no problem with him staying at my house.”   Well Cross seemed to make himself right at home and was often photographed on outings like the one below with Friel and her daughter looking a little too cozy.  Thewlis, 47, might be best known for his role in the ‘Harry Potter’ series as Remus Lupin.   Friel, 34, played Charlotte ‘Chuck’ Charles on TV series ‘Pushing Daisies.’

Friel, who met Cross whilst performing in the West End stage production of Breakfast at Tiffany's , has frequently denied being in a relationship with the young American actor. As soon as the pair spotted photographers, Joseph moved about 15 metres away from the happy group to sit on some deck chairs. Gracie is Friel's daughter with her long-term partner, David Thewlis.
