Jenny McCarthy splits with rebound boyfriend

[HMG Celebrity News] – Jenny McCarthy is not having a good year. After a long-term love affair with Jim Carrey she found new love with Jason Toohey. But that promising bond has also come to an end;

Jenny began dating the Las Vegas-based model and bodybuilder soon after her five-year connection with Jim flamed-out in April. Then came the book deal that upset many people.

Just three weeks later she’d hooked up with Jason;

“I am seeing someone right now, so I’m happy,” McCarthy told the press at the time.

But sources now say 35-year old Jason joined Jim on the curb just after Jenny presented at the ‘American Music Awards’ on November 21.

“He couldn’t handle her fame and the amount of attention she received, so she ended it,” an insider tells In Touch.

And the 38-year old White Sox fanatic doesn’t seem to be letting the split slow her down. On Saturday night she was spied at a holiday party, dancing with friends like Mary McCormack – and a writhing, sweat-sprinkled throng of gay guys.

“She did one dance to ‘Single Ladies,’” a fellow guest shares.

Also there were Taye Diggs and his wife Idina Menzel, while Jennifer Garner and Jamie Foxx were also spotted cruising the dance floor.

As for Jenn’s plans regarding Jason, her rep’s diplomacy should win an award;

“They’re on good terms and will remain friends.”

Which in Hollywood-speak means “Even if he was shot sixteen times and set on fire she’d still cross the street to avoid him.’
