Angelina Jolie refutes plastic surgery, plots dates with Brad Pitt
[HMG Celebrity News] – In a business that’s all about looks, too many stars get seduced by the lure of the knife. But Angelina Jolie has entirely resisted liposuction’s allure, and she plans to keep it like that.
The 35-year old insists that ski-ramp of a nose, the chiseled jaw and what one fawning reporter called ‘her pillow-plump lips’ are all natural. They’ve also made her a pin-up for the world’s plastic surgeons, but Angie insists she’s never even been near a knife herself;
“I haven’t had anything done and I don’t think I will,” she told the UK’s Daily Mail. “But if it makes somebody happy, that’s up to them. I’m not in somebody else’s skin to know what makes them feel better, but I don’t plan to do it myself.”
The last actress to share such good fortune was Joan Collins. And even Joan is a fan of the way Angie keeps her looks;
“There aren’t that many good looking actresses around today,” the now 77-year old former ‘Dynasty’ star recently said. “I mean, there’s Angelina Jolie and there’s…Angelina Jolie.”
When told of Joan’s review Angie was jazzed, and quickly schmoozed a response.
“That is so sweet and flattering,” she gushed. “It means so much more coming from her, because she’s just so gorgeous and cool, and has been forever.”
But the most important thing in Angie’s life remains her six children and Brad. And it was this seemingly idyllic connection that brought the petulant tirade from Chelsea Handler last weekend. But Angie stays focused;
“When you have children the whole world shifts for you,” she explained. “You have these little people that make you laugh and remind you what’s important, and you get to be their parent. Everything else comes from that.”
And how does she keep her bond with Brad from imploding, as so many Hollywood marriages have? ‘Date nights.’ is her answer.
“You have to make time when you’re not Mom and Dad,” she muses. “The most important thing is that you love your children, but you also have to stay focused on each other. And staying strong as a couple keeps the kids in an even better place.’
Recent rumors claimed Brad was now mulling a run for the White House. But it seems no-one told Angie;
“That’s news to me!” she replies with a snort of laughter. “He’d green up the White House pretty quick! But I think he’s a little busy for that.”
As for those children, six-year old Shiloh [seen here] has gained the most press attention for her habit of wearing boyish clothes. But Angelina sees no problem with that;
“She likes to dress like a boy, wants her hair cut like a boy and she wanted to be called ‘John’ for a while,” Jolie calmly recalled. “Some kids wear capes and want to be Superman; She wants to be like her brothers – it’s who she is. But she’s more than that; She’s funny and sweet and pretty…But she does love a tie.”
As for the future, possible projects include a film about Cleopatra. And she might even join Brad for a film.
“We talk about it often but it’s hard to find the right thing,” Angie admits. “We want to find that really great script, so we keep looking. We’ll find it one day.’
They first met while filming ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’ in 2005, so do you want them to make another movie together?…
