‘Law & Order’ episode borrows heavily from Tiger Woods Scandal

(HMG Celebrity News) – The “Law & Order” franchise is known for its ripped-from-the-headlines approach, and this  Wednesday’s “Law & Order: Los Angeles” show will have a very familiar plot line. The episode with detectives Skeet Ulrich, Corey Stoll and assitant DA Terrence Howard, includes a philandering golf star and his club-wielding wife. According to the AP when police arrive, the bleeding athlete says his spouse was merely attempting to rescue him, in this case, from their swimming pool rather than a wrecked car.

While Tiger’s November 2009 car crash,revolved around infidelities that ultimately unraveled his marriage to Elin Nordegren, the NBC crime drama goes in a very different direction, with detectives investigating the murder of a female golf pro.
