Miley Cyrus turns 18 tomorrow, plans dance duel with mom

[HMG Celebrity News] – Although she’s not 18 until Tuesday, Miley Cyrus started the celebrations early by hitting the dance floor with her mom after the 2010 American Music Awards.

“I’m going out dancing later,” she gushed at OMG. “We actually have choreography for the night later — everyone loves when we dance in unison.”

And Miley told reporters she and mom, Tish practice their moves by playing ‘Dance Central’ on her X-Box 360.

“My mom beats me at that!” Miley laughed. “She had 600,000 points yesterday, I had 300,000. We’ve got a bunch of moves going on. Everyone goes wild when my mom and I have choreography, so it’s going to be good.”

And just in case you thought she might keep this low-key, the former Disney star plans to keep her birthday festivities going for the whole month.

“I have a birthday month!” Miley told the scribes. “I do the whole month of November. Thanksgiving, cake – it’s all about me at Thanksgiving!”

Well, there’s a shock…Not.

As for her performance at the AMA’s, Miley says her version of “Forgiveness and Love” was inspired by The Beatles.

“I was listening to them a lot, and I love how they encouraged their fans to get inspired,” Miley says. “You want to tell people about peace and love, so I want to inspire people to have forgiveness and love others,” she added.

But the choice of song could have been very different. Miley had planned to sing ‘Every Rose Has Its Thorn’ until she learned that ‘Poison’ front-man Bret Michaels [who wrote and debuted it] allegedly had an affair with her mom.

Sources close to the show say she swapped her song choice to “Forgiveness” two weeks ago – which is when reports of the affair [which Bret strongly denies] first appeared.
