Chad Ochocinco and Basketball Wives’ Evelyn Lozada engaged

[HMG Celebrity News] – In a story that provides the shock news that some reality TV shows portray actual reality, Cincinnati Bengals’ wide receiver Chad Ochocinco is now engaged to his girlfriend, ‘Basketball Wives’ alumnus Evelyn Lozada. And the girl got a 10-carat ring.

The pair have been dating for just four months, but sources close to the couple say 32-year old Chad proposed while Evelyn was visiting him at the team’s training camp in Cincinnati. And Evelyn lost no time in sharing the spoils;

“I’m no rabbit but 10 carats looks good on me!” she tweeted yesterday. ”Let the hating begin!”

And with the tweet came a photo of the impressive rock in question.

TMZ says the new couple haven’t chosen a date for a wedding yet, but something tells me we’ll be kept well informed when that decision comes down — Chad is due to appear in the next season of ‘Basketball Wives’ which will follow the new pair’s real-life romance.

And all this is quite a development considering that Chad, 32, was still making “Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch” for VH1 in August, in which 85 hopeful women tried to win his heart. And at the same time. he was endlessly tweeting about his smokin’ hot love-life – with completely different women.
