Jessica Simpson has no prenup plans, friends concerned

[HMG Celebrity News] – As you know, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson are now planning a wedding. But friends are concerned that Jess is planning to get hitched without the safety net of a prenup in case it goes wrong.

When her four-year marriage to Nick Lachey flamed out it 2006 it cost Jess a bundle. And her girlfriends are worried she’s at risk of a similar fate with Eric.

“Nick walked away with over $10-million when they divorced, because they had no prenup,” one source whines at Popeater. “You’d think she’d have learned her lesson. But where romance is concerned, Jess follows her heart, not her head.”

Despite being worth around $100-million Jessica is said to be unconcerned by her lack of a legal defense in case of divorce. But her father, Joe is said to be far from relaxed.

“At the moment Joe’s being a great father, supporting his daughter and his future son-in-law,” a family friend shares. “But you can bet he’ll do everything to make sure Jessica doesn’t marry until Eric signs away any claim to her fortune.”

The pair have only been dating since May, and Eric has just closed his divorce from his wife of five years, Keri. But after being used by John Mayer and dumped on her birthday by Tony Romo, Jessica is apparently determined that this romance will end in a ring.
