Emma Watson defends Harry Potter ‘animal’ smooch

[HMG Celebrity News] – The chemistry between Harry Potter and Hermione was obvious in most of the films. But the two finally kiss in the upcoming first part of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,’ and Emma Watson admits it was ‘awkward.’

Daniel Radcliffe has been quoted as saying that 20-year old Emma kissed ‘like an animal.’ And Emma wasn’t exactly flattered by that.

“It’s so embarrassing,” she told the News. “I don’t know what to say!”

Ms. Watson maintains she’s “a committed and a dedicated” actress, which is why she threw herself into the kiss. And she insists she even discussed it with Daniel before they shot the scene.

“He says he gives me a 10-out-of-10 for kissing,” says Emma, laughing. ”So I’ve let him off.”

The pair shot the much-hyped encounter on a closed set. But after a few misfires it got ‘awkward,’ claims Emma.

“By take three it just got boring,” she smirked. “In a good way!”

Now studying liberal arts at Rhode Island’s Brown University, Emma has also admitted that once ‘Potter’ was finally done she took her ‘Time Turner’ from 2004′s ‘The Prisoner of Azkaban’ as a souvenir, because that was her favorite shoot.

“I just thought that prop was so beautiful,” Watson admitted, adding that she also took a wand and a cloak.
