Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson Announce Engagement

(HMG Celebrity News) – Maybe she was initially taken back when her ex-husband announced his engagement but now it’s Jessica Simpson’s turn.  Simpson and free agent NFL player Eric Johnson are getting married, a rep has confirmed to PEOPLE. The couple began dating in May, after being introduced by friends and Jessica has not held back her feelings for Eric.  Eric reportedly proposed to the singer on Thursday.  Simpson’s ex Nick Lachey got engaged to his girlfriend of five years, Vanessa Minnillo, two weeks ago.
