‘Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks and Elizabeth Moss in faux casting feud

[HMG Celebrity News] – From its almost unnoticed debut in July of 2007, ‘Mad Men’ has become one of AMC’s breakout hits. And two of its stars, Christina Hendricks and Elizabeth Moss are now allegedly engaged in a fight for casting supremacy.

Boasting no less than thirteen Emmys and four Golden Globes, the series follows life in the fictional ad agency of ‘Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce,’ and stars Jon Hamm as John Draper.

Elizabeth, a devout Scientologist, was cast as the agency’s chief copy-writer [and the show's female lead,] Peggy Olson. But after four seasons Christina has become the fans favorite as Office manager, Joan Harris — And Liz isn’t pleased.

“Ever since ‘Mad Men’ took off, there’s never been any love lost between Elisabeth and Christina,” a source tells the Enquirer. “Now, four years in, they hate each other.”

The pair are now said to be ‘feuding’ over the screen time they get, and their desire for top billing.

Season four ended in October, and the next one doesn’t air until sometime next year. So this may be true, or it may just faux drama designed to keep people talking while the show’s off the air.
