Lindsay Lohan impressively passes on drugs for dental surgery

[HMG Celebrity News] – You may have seen photos online of her father inspecting Lindsay Lohan’s mouth recently? Well, he wasn’t looking for Waldo, he was checking her new dental work.

“Lindsay had dental surgery this week,” a source has told Radar. “She had teeth removed and won’t even take painkillers.”

The source claims 24-year old Lohan is so determined that her current stay at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, CA, where she’s been since September should be her final encounter with rehab. And she’s doing everything possible to stay clean and on course.

“She’s taking her time at Betty Ford very seriously,” the source said.

This is Lohan’s fifth trip to a rehab facility, so that’s quite a change, considering just five months ago LiLo had two wisdom teeth removed and gladly took the powerful medication ‘Dilaudid’ to handle the pain.

Dilaudid is a ‘Schedule II’ controlled substance. It’s based on morphine and is the chemical twin of two other popular drugs among addicts — Methodone and Oxycodone. Any misuse can suppress a patient’s breathing and may end in death.

Lohan also reunited with her father this week for the first time since March. The two were spied shopping at a mall in Palm Desert, and again at a movie theater on Wednesday.

And in a week that seems filled with unexpected events, Dina Lohan appeared on the Today Show on Monday — and finally admitted her daughter’s addictions.

“We take it one day at a time,” she told the hosts. “Addiction is difficult; I don’t have a crystal ball.”

She does, however, have crystal-clear culpability.

Both Lohan and her parents are now keen to ensure that this tour through rehab could set Lindsay straight.

It remains to be seen if they’re too hopeful — again…
