Jake Gyllenhaal Says Naked Anne Hathaway Had Wow Factor
(HMG Celebrity News) – While Anne Hathaway is eagerly telling everyone she was ‘a crying wreck’ about getting naked for her new movie, ‘Love and Other Drugs,’ one of her co-stars, Josh Gad says Anne’s worries were baseless — and her bod is just hot!
“I was like, Wow!” the 29-year old ‘Daily Show’ performer told E-Online. “It was very interesting. You don’t expect your first day on set is going to be Anne Hathaway taking off all her clothes. She’s gorgeous!”
Josh also gets to share some skin with the fans;
“I was nervous, and I just showed my ass. So I can only imagine what she’s dealing with,” he admits. “But she was just unbelievable about it all.”
For those who have so far avoided its relentless promotion, the film concerns Maggie (Anne,) whose carefree life hits a glitch when she meets Jamie (Jake Gyllenhaal,) a successful salesman of medical drugs. Despite her best efforts she’s enthralled by his charm, and the pair become hooked on the ultimate drug — Love.
And Jake’s done several nude scenes, so he understood Anne’s sense of fear;
“I’m naked a lot,” laughed the 29-year old Angelino. “But for a woman it can be…yeah, scary.”
Meanwhile, the movie’s director, Edward Zwick has nothing but praise for the two stars;
“They’re brilliant and serious actors,” he told E. “It’s natural to be nervous and anxious about being naked in front of people. But when it’s the service of the story and you’re a real artist, it’s what you do.”
And now she’s been able to get dressed again, Anne wants her next role to be education. She’s already done two years of college, and now wants to pick that up and graduate.
“I finished two years and I’m hoping I get back,” she told Jay Leno last week. “The last time I went to college was between Brokeback Mountain and The Devil Wears Prada, so I’ve been busy since then, which is nice!”
‘Brokeback’ was September 2005, and ‘Prada’ debuted in June, 2006.
Anne’s also prepping for her 10-year reunion at Millburn High School in Essex County, New Jersey.
“I was so invisible at School,” she told Leno, laughing. “I don’t think I was unpopular, I just don’t think I registered enough to matter. I was really interested in the arts. So if anybody knew who I was, that was what they knew me for. And it will be nice to go back. I’m curious to see how everybody’s doing.”
If it’s after the movie’s debut on November 24, that should be quite a meeting…
