Michael Jackson track ‘Breaking News’ fuels vocals dispute

MichaelJackson[1][HMG Celebrity News] – The story of Michael Jackson and the ‘fake’ tracks from New Jersey just keeps on getting strange. The new album which includes the disputed recordings is due out in December, and Sony insist the vocals are pure Jackson.

The record label’s bosses plan to publish a ‘teaser’ for the album on MichaelJackson.com tomorrow. Then on Monday an entire track ‘Breaking News’ will be streamed for one week, then removed.

The creative process of planning, writing and recording never stopped for the 50-year old singer who died in June of ’09. Wherever he was, friends say he was always creating. Sometimes with other composers but mostly alone.

And ‘Breaking News’ is one example. Jackson recorded it in 2007 at the New Jersey home of a family friend, Eddie Cascio. It was recently remixed and extra vocals and instruments were added, and Monday will be the world premiere.

The Jackson family recently claimed that it, and several other tracks on the new album are not the voice of their famous sibling. But his record label, Sony strongly denied this and insist the vocals are Jackson and no-one else.

The suits at Sony even ordered numerous tests of the voice and they’re convinced it’s MJ. So the teaser will be released tomorrow, then ‘Breaking News’ will streamed for one week to get the fans fired up to buy the new disk.

The full album, simply called ‘Michael’ features three tracks recorded at the Cascio’s home, and will then be released on December 14…
