Joe Jonas split the root of Demi Lovato meltdown?
[HMG Celebrity News] – As you may have heard, Demi Lovato left the Jonas Brothers tour to enter rehab for ‘personal issues.’ But that’s just the tip of a very strange iceberg.
Life for Demi was stress from the start; Born on August 20, 1992 in Dallas, her parents chose to name her ‘Demetria Devonne Lovato,’ which probably didn’t help (kidding). Then came school — which was worse;
She was bullied so badly, she got home-schooled instead. And friends say Demi was so insecure, she often cut herself. So quitting the tour was just the latest event in the life of someone even her close friends call ‘Demi Drama.’
Her rep tried to put some positive spin on the decision. But it didn’t do much for the fans.
The trouble really started at school. Demi was already acting; She did Disney specials and also acted with Barney. And that’s probably why she was a target of hate for her classmates;
“I was bullied in middle school,” she recently admitted. “It got so bad I had to be home-schooled. Many people think of bullying as getting beaten up, but for me it was all the verbal harassment. Words can hurt. Things were said to me I still haven’t forgotten.”
This also caused some brushes with bulimia, and two years ago photos surfaced of [then 16-year old] Demi at Miley Cyrus’ birthday party, with strange marks on her wrist. Her rep dismissed reports of self-mutilation, and blamed candy jewelry.
“Demi was wearing gummy bracelets just before her appearance, and they were so tight they left dents on her wrist,” publicist Allison Leslie insisted.
But family sources say Demi has indeed cut herself. And breaking up with Joe Jonas was a major blow;
“On tour they were calling her ‘Demi Drama,’ an insider shares. “After the split it was all drama. Everyone tried to be professional, but you could tell it was wearing on Demi. It was a taboo subject, but she clearly wasn’t over Joe.”
When the tour was over, Demi went on a promo tour for ‘Camp Rock 2,’ and promoting her single from the film.
“It was too much ask of a girl that young. She couldn’t handle it,” the source oozes. “Demi has a lot of issues she’s dealing with, but the source is a great deal of stress.”
And the stress soon came to the surface — She closed her Twitter account, quit the Jonas tour in the middle of its South American segment, then on Saturday she started a fight with one of the tour’s dancers at the airport in Peru.
“She just lost it, right at the airport in front of everyone,” says the source. “The Jonas boys dad basically said, ‘That’s it. You’re going home.’ ”
Joe’s new date, Ashley Greene was there and witnessed the meltdown. And despite claiming she’s strongly opposed to hurting people with words, friends say Demi made ‘verbal threats’ towards Ashley.
Friends of the troubled teen also say the fracas at the airport was ‘the catalyst’ to Demi finally deciding to take responsibility’ for her actions. So now she’s in rehab.

Joe you are an idiot and so is your father if he was involved with this. I saw you cry at a 2009 concert in Detroit after your breakup with Camillia Belle and you were not too together either. Same on the entire Jonas family. Good job teaching todays youth how to be honest.
Demi, it’s okay. Don’t be scared. Everyone makes mistakes. I respect your privacy with this one. Good job being brave enough to get help. If you want to talk to someone, reply back to this message. Things will get better. I will pray for you. If you thimk you’re all alone, you’re not. I believe you are still an innocent.

Only part of the above story is true. The meltdown and fight that Demi had at the airport was not “in front” of Ashley Greene. She wasn’t there when that occured, she flew in the following day, so that part is untrue.
And as far as Joe being at fault for all of this, that’s a bit unfair. Demi had cutting problems, self-esteem issues and an apparent eating disorder (all according to her own family) years before her two month relationship with Joe Jonas.
Joe did not parade Ashley in front of Demi. And Ashley has only been to a total of 5 shows out of their 3-4 month tour (two of those after Demi departed the tour). The only “drama” being created is what the fans are making up to justify the treatment. I want nothing more than for Demi to get the treatment she needs and get better. But Demi was bullied all her life, let’s not transfer that hate to someone else and bully them.

cutting yourself is to take away the harshness and pain you sufferd i completely understand you and i dont want you to change but at least your helping yourself i like you just the way you are

Demi not matter what i’m still a fan of yours. She’s the best singer ever and she’s so supportive against bullying. I totally understand that she’s under a lot of stress and that bullying will always leave a mark no matter how hard you try to ignore it. She’s so responsible with going into rehad. And besides a break up hurts what do you expect a girl to do? She deserves so much better than a Jonas Brother. Demi you still have fans that support you!!!! YOU’RE THE BEST!!!!

I think it was wrong of Joe just to get a girlfriend right away after their breakup, Like it was messed up! But come on it’s Joe Jonas aka known as a heartbreaker and Demi knew how he was before they started dating. I love the Jonas Brothers with my entire heart. But right now all my thoughts & prayers go out to Demi and Her family. The Joe & Demi Break up didn’t help Demi’s issues out at all, she had many problems before and her being in Rehab truely is helping her. Listen don’t put down the Jonas Brothers, because first of all Joe is one person it doesnt even include all of them or their family. Second of all this happens in ALOT of realitionships, maybe even the cutting themselves part and etc. Just because their celebraties doesn’t mean it’s sooo wrong, I mean I bet everyone has been jealous so see their ex with someone else, has lost a close friend and maybe even had a breakdown. I know I have, so just chill out & stop putting down Joe and be there for DEMI in her time of need.
