John Travolta & Kelly Preston plan silent birth
[HMG Celebrity News] – While minor celebrities would use a forthcoming baby as a publicity binge, John Travolta and Kelly Preston have stayed admirably silent. And it seems they’ll be even quieter when the baby arrives.
Both John, 56, and 48-year old Kelly are followers of the Scientology path, and their religion requires there be no talking or music during the birth; Kelly can’t even scream or cry from the pain.
“One is meant to be as silent as possible so as to not give the child a ‘birth engram’ with sounds that will re-stimulate them later in life,” Amy Scobee, a former leader of the Church told Radar.
FYI — The Scientology folk say an ‘engram’ is “a recording of a past, painful event not accessible to the conscious mind”…Who said HMG wasn’t culture??
The Church’s rules say the baby must not be subjected to any sensory discomfort after the birth as they’ve already endured a lot by just being born, and more could cause problems later in life.
Kelly recently told ‘Redbook’ she tried to follow the rules for the birth of their daughter Ella Bleu back in 2000, but it was tough; After 13-hours of labor at home she called an ambulance to race to the hospital and get an epidural.
“It got hardcore at the end, because she was so big,” she admitted.
But they got snarled in traffic and never made it — Ella was born while they were still on the road.
This will be the third child for the couple, who lost their beloved son, Jett in a medical tragedy in 2009. And the big day is clearly very close — Kelly has not been seen in public since the ‘Casino Jack’ premiere in Toronto in September.
A rep for the couple says there’s no news yet on the new baby’s arrival, so we’ll keep you advised…

L Ron Hubbard was a complete failure as both a father and husband. Read “Piece of Blue Sky” to get a good bio on him. You can also just use Google. For example:
His first son, Lafayette Ron Hubbard, Jr., said “90% of anything my father ever wrote or said about himself is untrue.”

His second son, Quentin Hubbard, committed suicide in 1976.

His second wife said he was insane:

In a letter to Hubbard’s second wife, Hubbard’s first wife said this about him: “I’ve been through it – the beatings, threats on my life, all the sadistic traits you charge – twelve years of it”.

His third wife was one of 11 high ranking Scientologists sent to jail for their involvement in Operation Snow White. After getting out Hubbard was still hiding from the Feds and she never got to see him again. She died of cancer in 2002.

To see and hear the praise given by religious leaders, politicans, police, healthcare professionals and human rights activists to the Church of Scientology and L Ron Hubbard for the effective, isolutions to common problems society faces, including illiteracy, drug addiction and human rights abuses:
The URL for video testimonials of non-Scientologists (as described in my first posting) is accessible at the official Scientology site. It’s a dot org.
There may be a misconception regarding the intention of the Church of Scientology (and I am a businessman, not an employee of any Scientology group). L Ron Hubbard during his half-century of R&D developed solutions that address the UNDERLYING CAUSE of symptoms that disrupt society.
There may be a hundreds of symptoms, but there is an underling cause that creates the symptoms. By resolving the cause, the symptoms vanish.
Altough these solutions are part of the Church of Scientology, there are also separate non-religious applications that anyone of any faith can use to improve conditions.
A MAJOR program by Scientology International is to make better known and used Hubbard’s societal improvement programs. Scientology International has set as one of its primary goals the resolution of deep seated social problems (e.g., environmentally, educationally and socially), so culture improves.
That means individuals and groups having effective solutions, becoming more able and happier. Thus the tone level of society rises. (It is currently between apathy and fear, which is the recipe of a totalitarian state and the loss of privacy and freedom. Many can agree that his happening right now.
In looking at societies historically, Hubbard stated that when technology evolves fast than the humanities (e.g., education, sociology, criminality and psychology — the original definition = “the study of the spirt”) a totalitarian government rises with loss of privacy and freedoms. This is exactly what is occuring worldwide.
Fast advancement of technologies WITHOUT an advancement of the humanities = police state.
Case in point: An estimated $50 BILLION during the past decade has been spent on “improving education” WITHOUT results. Therefore, even college graduates have difficulty studying. The average reading level in the US is 6th grade — too low to support a real democracy.
Hubbard’s breakthrough in what causes educational problems is hugely successful whenever applied. The psych / drug industries want no part of it as it would significantly reduce their profits. These profits come from llabelilng children as ADHD. etc. The more infants, children and adults on psych drugs, the more billions are pocketed. Nearly 16 percent of every dollar spent in the US goes to healthcare.
Typos in the above:
4th para, line 1: Although these solutions . . .
6th para, line 3: …loss of privacy and freedom.) Many can agree that this is…
7th para, line 1: …evolves faster… …
7th para, line 3: “the study of the spirit”…
7th para, line 4: … occurring …
10th para, line 3: …These profits come from labeling children…
Why do we have to listen to “Radar” and someone who was forcefully ejected from the church for relationship infidelity as the authority on what Scientologists do when having a baby?
I’ve got a whole run-down on my site on Silent Birth, and it’s so outrageously simple and common sense, and not the odd practice you’re making it out to be.

Sup Terryeo
I really don’t understand the whole commotion. So John Travolta and Kelly Preston are Scientologists. And yea, the Pope is Catholic. If that’s what they choose to believe, why should I interfere or care? I’ve seen a lot more weird stuff coming from other religions as well, and they remain strange to me, but hey, whatever makes them happy. My point is what’s strange to me may make complete sense to someone else, so let’s just respect everybody and accept their religious choices the way I would want them to respect mine. People who point fingers and say YOUR religion is weird are hypocrites.
