‘Tiger Eyes’ Novel to Become Movie

Tiger eyes(HMG Celebrity News) -  The beloved young-adult novel Tiger Eyes is coming to the big screen, The Hollywood Reporter reported Monday. Published in 1981, Tiger Eyes, tells  the story of a teenage girl whose family moves to New Mexico after her father is killed in a convenience story robbery. She meets an American Indian teen named Wolf, whose father is a terminally ill patient in the hospital at which the girl volunteers. “Gossip Girl” actress Willa Holland is playing the teen girl, Davey, while newcomer Tatanka Means plays Wolf. Together they help overcome her fear and grief,  Blume reportedly wrote the screenplay with her son, Lawrence Blume, who is also directing the movie. This is the first Blume novel to be turned into a feature film, although several have been turned into TV movies.
