Jenny McCarthy’s new ‘relationship book’ honesty based or just exploitation?

(HMG Celebrity News) – I am all for honesty and learning from relationships but I can’t help feeling like Jenny McCarthy is using her relationship with Jim Carrey, and also rubbing it in his face? The romance came to an end in April after five years, and for several months, McCarthy has been seeing a new guy. Prior to Carrey, the 1993 Playboy magazine model married director-actor John Mallory Asher to which she had a son, Evan Joseph. Honesty isn’t exactly a revolutionary relationship technique, but that’s what McCarthy is peddling in her new book seemingly using her latest relationships as examples, with the implication that she was faking it with Carrey.

In a recent interview with People magazine, during the signing of her recent book entitled Love, Lust and Faking It: The Naked Truth About Sex, Lies and True Romance last Friday at Miami, the 37 year old gushed about her new special fella, Jason Toohey McCarthy. She says Toohey and her are all about honesty. “I was a girl who pretended. I would say I liked things when I didn’t,” she said. “I knew if I wanted to grow, I needed to make myself happy before I could begin to have an equal relationship with another man.”

“I got the book deal the same time Jim and I split,” McCarthy admits. “While researching and writing it, I looked inside of myself and began to see what was wrong with me instead of blaming him for everything.”

McCarthy commented that she “knew if I wanted to grow, I needed to make myself happy before I could begin to have an equal relationship with another man.” She seems to have found that with Toohey pretty fast. “With Jason,” she says, “I went in with all of my chips laid out. He respected that and saw the life in me. And, so far, it is working well.” A recent report about Jason Toohey reveals that he was a Las Vegas performer, specifically as a pirate, but I thinks it’s McCarthy who’s doing the plundering right now, and it’s all for show as far as I am concerned.
