Angelina Jolie reboots Bosnia film after permit snafu

Angelina Jolie, Shiloh and Zahara[HMG Celebrity News] – As you know, Angelina Jolie is in Eastern Europe preparing to make her first movie as a director. She’s since hit a snag with some permits, but that’s apparently been solved.

Officials in Bosnia recently refused the 35-year old star a filming permit because a copy of the script was not included with the request, which is against local law. But that’s now been solved, and the permit should be issued on Monday

“The script has been approved and they’re back on schedule to film next month,” a government source tells ABC News.

You might have read that the permit was refused because of a supposed plot twist in which a rape victim falls in love with her attacker. Well, that’s wrong.

“There are many twists in the plot that address the relationship between the main characters, and that will be revealed once the film is released,” Angelina has since said in a statement. “My hope is people will hold judgment until they’ve seen the film.”

The refusal is even more unjust when you consider Angelina’s well known in the area — More than a million people were left homeless by a civil war that ended in 1995, and as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations’ High Commission for Refugees [UNHCR] she and Brad went there in April to work with the people who help them.

But now the snag is corrected, Angie is said to be much happier about the filming plans;

“Everyone is relieved,” an insider shares. “Angie feels like a huge weight has been lifted off the team’s shoulders. It’s great news.”

Angie — who is writing, directing and producing the still untitled film — is now expected to arrive in the tiny nation of just 4.6-million people late next month to start shooting.

We’ll let you know if the vocal yokels who run the place find other ways to try and cause Angie some trouble…
