Rapper T.I. Gets Another 11 Months in Prison

(HMG Celebrity News) – A couple days after saving the life of a suicidal man, rapper TI, is going back to jail. A federal judge ordered the Atlanta native back to prison for 11 months after revoking his probation.  T.I., 30, reportedly begged the judge not to send him back to prison, saying he needed to get help for drug addiction. He told the judge he “screwed up” and pleaded for mercy, but to no avail. Last month, T.I. (real name: Clifford Harris) and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle were arrested in L.A. after cops discovered marijuana in their car. Police in the September bust then found more goodies, and charged the star for possessing ecstasy, testing positive for opiates and associating with a convicted felon. The multi-platinum rapper left prison this past March after a 10 month stay on federal weapons charges. T.I., has won three Grammy Awards, most recently in 2008 for “Swagga Like Us” and has been nominated 12 times.
