Linda Evangelista Splits From Hard Rock Cafe Founder Boyfriend

(HMG Celebrity News) – Supermodel Linda Evangelista and her billionaire boyfriend Peter Morton, the Hard Rock Cafe founder, have reportedly split. One family source tells Page Six, “Peter is very settled in Malibu and loves LA, while Linda liked to spend time in Canada and with her friends in New York. Like all supermodels, she is high-maintenance and likes to be treated like a princess.”

And if you don’t buy the high-maintenance comment remember that Evangelista, once famously declared that she and other supermodels “don’t wake up for less than $10,000 a day.”

The pair began dating in 2006 when Evangelista was pregnant with her son, Augustin James (Augie), with never confirmed rumors that the father is Salma Hayek’s fiancé, Francois-Henri Pinault.

Not surprisingly some members of Peter’s family were not too fond of her, and were dismayed when she appeared around last Thanksgiving with a large diamond ring on her finger. But the marriage never happened.”

But apparently now their worries are over.  Meanwhile Evangelista’s modeling career at age 45, is still going strong as a face of L’Oreal and a recently landed  fall gig for womens wear retailer Talbots to herald a company relaunch.
