Kendra Wilkinson moving to LA for career – leaving Hank in the cold?
[HMG Celebrity News] – Having followed her husband, NFL player Hank Baskett as he bounced from the Minnesota Vikings to the Indianapolis Colts to the Philadelphia Eagles and back to Minnesota — all in two years, Kendra Wilkinson has reportedly packed her bags once again and moved to L.A….without Hank.
“She’s moving back to LA,” an insider tells L&S. “It’ll happen in mid-October. She’s made the decision and told Hank.”
Kendra also plans to take their ten-month old son, Hank Jr. with her — leaving Hank 1,500 miles from his child in cold Minnesota. And he’s not too happy with that;
“Hank is pissed,” says an insider. “The fighting between them is bad. They’ve had fights and crying fits, and been screaming at each other. He can’t understand why she won’t come to Minnesota.”
But Kendra’s friends claim her motives are plain — Her child and her series on ‘E-TV’ are her only stability, and LA is where she can ‘become a big star. ‘
“In her mind, it’s not her fault Hank can’t keep a job,” one friend dishes. “She has a job — plus friends in LA and family in San Diego. She’s not going to Minnesota and destroy her career.”
This ‘career’ so far consists of posing naked at Hugh Hefner’s 78th birthday party in 2004, a short spell on ‘The Girls Next Door,’ then a spin-off show ‘Kendra,’ which draws less than 2.5-million viewers.
But the peak came in May when a sex tape emerged. Kendra threatened to sue, and sold her story to every tabloid capable of forming a coherent sentence. It was later revealed she owned the company that tried to sell several other tapes to Vivid Entertainment –Â the same firm who strangely had this one.
She later settled with Vivid and was paid $680,000, plus a share of the profits.
It’s unlikely these sex tapes strengthened her marriage, and neither will this apparent move. So are Hank and Kendra going to be the next set of celebrities filing for divorce?
Hank is very capable of keeping a job! It is not his fault they keep switching him from team to team! He can also teach as well since he has had great grades in school and has taught before. I like Kendra, but when you marry it is for better or worse and even though Minnesota may not be her thing she should at least be there for her husband..
I agree with you 100%!, when you marry you are supposed to stand by your husband side, she seems very selfish, if you ask me, I love them how they look together and love her reality show, they are funny! I like them both and would hate to see them split!
They had divorce written on ‘em before they got married. How could anyone with even a thread of smarts believe they’d stay together?
This is such a fabricated story. First off – you make it sound like she has no career. Oh she appeared naked at his birthday was on GND for a little and has her own show which is a flop.
She has a great career – her show is doing great (it wouldn’t be in its 3rd season if not) and she has written her own book – which is great. The sex tape thing is a lie in your story – she does not own the company and don’t believe she was paid for anything. So since everything else is fabricated – I doubt they are fighting that bad. She probably just wants to move back to LA where her family is and friends are – and then on the off season Hank can come back there too. If I was her I would get tired of moving around every 5 seconds too. It isn’t Hanks fault but still. She had a hard time in Indy because of the cold and getting cabin fever and Minnesota is 10 times worse. She just got settled in PA and now she has to move again with a small baby. That would get old big time and very stressful. I am sure he isn’t the kind of man that doesn’t understand that. If so, I don’t blame her – she has a baby to look after. Anyway – they are a great couple and am sure they talked it out and it was decided together they would do it this way. Her “job” is more stable (seems like it at the moment) – because he gets moved every 5 seconds – I am sure she would like to make some more money in LA – because they don’t know what the future entales with his job. They discussed this one time on their show even. Next time get your facts straight before you write an article because over 80% (at least) of this is for sure untrue.
Another thing that isn’t right – he was with the PA Eagles first and then moved to Indy and back to philly and now Minnesota. Please do research before writing your next article…..crazy.
kendra should have known be 4 she married him wat being married 2 a football player means they travel etc u should stand by ur man ! and u obviously arent ready to be married then.
Personally I love Kendra. I think she is funny and a good mom. As for the sex tape I’ve never heard anything about her owning a company but I did hear she made some money off of it. If so thats kinda sad for Hank. I can only imagine how he feels about that whole situation. I am a little disappointed that she didnt want to come here to Minnesota. Its not as bad as everyone thinks. I think it would have been a good spin off for the show. I think she is a good mom but honestly she should have realized what she was getting into when she married a football player. Hank is a good man. He deserves his wife to stand beside him. She should let the fame go and be with her husband. Fame wont always be there but her Husband will. Also I read somewhere that she wanted to quit the show anyways after a few seasons so whats the big deal. Thats just something I saw in an interview or something.
I’m sure whatever they decided was discussed between the two of them. I was disappointed to hear she wouldn’t be coming to MN (where I live) but I understand she needs to set up a home base somewhere.

Its fine that you want to defend Kendra, but please stop with all the nonsense about Minnesota. Question: Have you ever even been to the state? As a person who has grown up and lived in the cities, I am repulsed by your answer. Even though I am not denying that it gets cold here, it is definitely not what makes it Minnesota. The nerve of the woman to even say that coming here would ruin her career is pathetic. We just don’t get into the hype that goes behind “Hollywood”. Who really needs the kind of life where you have to get plastic surgery done and walk around everywhere with a little doggy tucked under your arm? Minnesota is full of friendly people who would do anything for a friend or perfect stranger without a second thought. We care about people for who they are, not their “career” status or new look that they have come up with. So before you (or the person you are trying to defend so badly) go and assume the worst about Minnesota, get the facts. And also try putting a pair of gloves on…its not that bad.
I live in MN and it isnt bad. Kendra needs to understand that she married a football player. It’s not Hank’s fault he gets moved around. All Kendra wants is attention. I personally LOVED her and her show before reading this artice. I would watch it every Sunday night. But now, it is kind of dissapointing that she has made this dissicion. I hope she rethinks this dissicion and moves here. I was so excited to find out she was moving here.
I can’t help but comment on your comment. MN is not that great!! I know I was born and raised there and thankfully moved away. Your “Minnesota Kindness” is a bunch of crap. Your not kind, at all, everyone is very self-serving and rude. The only time people are kind is to the visitors, not the actual people from MN. It’s cold, there are millions of mosquitoes and it sucks. Plus, you “Citiot’s” (that is what we from up north like to call the weekend warriors who travel to their cabins every weekend and think they own the town) are a bunch of assholes. And no I do not live in California I moved to Montana where the people ARE actually friendly. Oh and by the way if you ever come to Montana you as Minnesotans DO NOT have the right to just drive in the left hand lane because you think you pay your taxes and that means both sides of the road are meant for you to drive on. The left hand lane is a PASSING LANE, you pass and then you get over into the right hand lane. So go drink your diet sodas and eat your fried foods on a stick (or cheese curds), cheer for the Vikings (who suck anyway) and leave the people alone who choose not live there.

I like Kendra and Hank but let’s get some things straight. Yes, football players (and most other sports) do travel and get traded but usually not that many times in a 2 year period. Also, Minnesota is a good state but it’s not a great place to be a television star or model. There is just more opportunity to thrive in California. I do think she needs to make wise decisions about her marriage and seperation. Distance can make the heart grow fonder but it can also lead to heartache. I pray that it works out for both of them.
How about everyone just lets THEM live THEIR life and worry about your OWN?! Must be a crowd of psychiatrists here…geez – nobody goes thru YOUR lives with a fine-tooth comb!

@ TW… I’m wondering if you’re married or have ever been married. If so you would know that you stand by your husband or wife no matter what. You don’t just up and leave the state just because you don’t like where you’re staying. What type of marriage is that!!!
Totally agree with your comment!! I understand that everything is not always as it appears, but he seems like a totally decent guy who obviously loves her. My kids are from a broken home, and it hurts me to this very day that my ex and I couldn’t make it work, especially for our children.

Um, why isn’t anybody pointing out the facts? Kendra is a girl who is dumb as a rock who profits from her body and NOTHING else. She is a whore! Hank Basket MARRIED a whore. Why is anyone surprised that Kendra wants to be where people pay money to see her tits? THAT’S HER CAREER!!!
