David Arquette Makes Dubious Apology For Sexual Tell-All On ‘Howard Stern’
(HMG Celebrity News) – When David Arquette got on the Howard Stern to tell of his split from wife Courteney Cox, I attributed some of the overshares he made to just being in a highly emotional state. Arquette told Stern, he has not had sex with Courtney in five months, and has in the meantime bedded waitress Jasmine Waltz twice. Since then David has made a public apology presumably for Courteney’s benefit, but according to TMZ, she knew exactly what he was going to say before he went on the show and was “fine” with it.
He wrote over a series of tweets on Wednesday:
Thank you all for your Love and support at this time. I’m trying figuring out how to be the best person I can be but it’s been a process of trial and error. I went on Howard Stern yesterday to provide clarity and honesty about what I’m experiencing but while doing that I shared too much…it’s alright for me to be honest about my own feelings but in retrospect some of the information I provided involved others and for that I am sorry and humbled..Life is a process of spiritual evolution. I’m sure Courteney and myself will emerge from this painful time better people for what we’ve learned.
I don’t see how Courtney would have been comfortable with David talking about their sex life, or lack there of, so I think he did just end up oversharing. And then there is the confession of the romance with the waitress Jasmine Waltz. I think all parties were surprised by that one but for different reasons. You might think Jasmine, would be angry because she got mentioned by name but her main concern seems to be that David did not own up to having lots of sex with her, sources tell TMZ:
“Two times, my ass!” she reportedly told friends.
