First of Many What Happened Stories Emerges on Christina Aguilera – Jordan Bratman Split

(HMG Celebrity News) – With the stunning news of the marriage of music executive Jordan Bratman and singer Christina Aguilera being put on hold yesterday, you knew there would be theories on what happened soon.  Unlike having David Arquette making things convenient by pouring his heart out to Howard Stern, I don’t think your going to be hearing anything from the Jordan Bratman camp anytime soon.  But there is some initial speculation that the straw that broke this marriage’s back was when Christina Aguilera went for a girls-only vacation with Nicole Richie and Samantha Ronson in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, last month. Richie was reportedly celebrated her upcoming nuptials to “Good Charlotte” singer Joel Madden. Page Six sources said “there were already problems between her and her husband, but things got worse after her wild girls’ trip.” Insiders said Aguilera and Jordan Bratman, married for five years, spent hardly any time together while she was on set for her movie, “Burlesque. I think the media has always portrayed Bratman as the calming influence in the relationship, so I am guessing more stories will soon emerge of Aguilera being the cause of the split, in some more sensational fashion. In a statement Aguilera made confirming the split yesterday, she didn’t give any indication that the couple might eventually reconcile, only saying, “Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever.”
