Sarah Palin Booed on Dancing With the Stars?

(HMG Celebrity News) -  Bristol Palin was delighted to have her mom in the audience last night, but the rest of the crowd perhaps wasn’t so enthusiastic to see former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin?  Just before host Tom Bergeron sat down to chat with the former vice presidential candidate on-camera, the studio audience was heard erupting into a loud chorus of boos.  “Why is there booing?” asked former “Dirty Dancing” actress Jennifer Grey, who had just completed her routine and had just received her scores. The show then cut to Palin – who had a stunned look on her face – and her youngest daughter, Piper. ABC says the booing was not directed at Sarah Palin, but was really the crowds reaction that Jennifer Grey, who performed immediately prior to Bristol Palin, got only a trio of 8s from the judges even though the routine she did was a clear audience favorite. After Sarah said a few words including “Bristol the pistol, that’s who were rooting for,” ABC aired footage of Bristol’s highly publicized trip with her partner Mark Ballas, to Alaska last week. In the clip, the 19-year-old explained that she took Ballas home with her to thank him for being such a great teacher – and to introduce him to her mom, his biggest fan. Bristol by the way ended up having a good night, as the judges gave her 22 out of 30 points for her quickstep.
