Vogue stylist, Shawn Mount facing rape allegations during London’s Fashion Week

[HMG Celebrity News] – In one of the less flattering headlines from London’s Fashion Week, one of the show’s models has accused top New York stylist, Shawn Mount of rape.

Married to the current face of Chanel, Heidi Mount, 30-year old Shawn was questioned by British police over an alleged incident with a a 24-year old model — and one of his wife’s biggest rivals – at a London hotel in the early hours of last Monday.

“We received a complaint of a assault at 1:30am, at a central London hotel,” a Scotland Yard spokesman told the Post. “A 30-year-old man was arrested and bailed to return in November. He has not been charged and we are still investigating.”

A fixture at Vogue and Ralph Lauren shows, Shawn was in London to prepare models for the various runway events. And his friends are crushed by the claims.

“This is awful, for both women,” one insider shared. “Shawn denies the allegation.”

Details of the alleged incident have not been released but sources say both Shawn and his wife of three years know the accuser.

Currently at home in New York’s East Village with their 3-year old son, Liam, the couple have shunned all invitations by the press to share their side of the story.
