Judge Pulls Welcome Surprise – Lindsay Lohan Denied Bail and Taken into Custody

(HMG Celebrity Gossip) – Has sanity finally emerged in our lax legal system for once?  While it was believed that Lindsay Lohan might skate away again, Judge Elden Fox shockingly denied her bail, and she has been handcuffed   and taken into custody,  just like anybody else.   Her recent offense, where she failed two drug tests, one of which she tested positive for cocaine, was somehow considered a misdemeanor offense, so it was expected she would get bail. In that case it’s likely Judge Fox would later sentence Lindsay to 30 days in jail, but it would be subject to the realities of prison overcrowding, which means she would go to jail for booking and probably be released an hour or two later. But by denying bail, Lindsay could be sitting there until October 22, for a next hearing. So effectively the now highly esteemed Judge Fox, has used a backdoor way for Lindsay to serve some real jail time, if this goes as expected.
