Actor Cameron Crowe and Heart’s Nancy Wilson divorcing

Nancy Wilson - Cameron Crowe(HMG Celebrity News) – Nancy Wilson has filed for divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences from her filmmaker husband Cameron Crowe on Thursday, after 24 years of marriage.

According to the filing via TMZ, the couple who have 10-year-old twin sons William and Curtis, had been separated since June 2008. Wilson is seeking joint physical and legal custody of the children and has also asked the court for spousal support.

Wilson, 56, a singer/songwriter/guitarist and her older sister Ann the frontwomen for Heart, are known for such classic-rock hits like as “Barracuda,” “Magic Man” and “Crazy On You.”

Crowe, 53, won an Oscar for writing “Almost Famous,” a movie inspired by his own experiences as a teen reporter who traveled with Led Zeppelin for Rolling Stone magazine. His other credits include “Jerry Maguire,” “Vanilla Sky” and “Say Anything.”

They met in 1982, introduced by Heart’s then-manager; the same year, Wilson briefly appeared in “Fast Times at Ridgemont High,” a movie written by Crowe. They were married at Ann Wilson’s home in Seattle on July 23, 1986.
