Lindsay Lohan reboots with Sam Ronson, while her doctors might be in trouble

[HMG Celebrity News] – Of the many benefits Lindsay Lohan may have gained from her recent brief brush with the law, one could put her right back in the tabloids where she can still play the star; She’s making friends again with Sam Ronson.

“Lindsay and Sam started talking as soon as Lindsay got out of rehab. They text constantly,” a friend tells the Queens. “It turned into more and they’ve secretly hooked up.”

And it seems the former felon plans to stay sober and make it work with Sam this time — She was spied at the famed NYC restaurant, ‘The Lion’ — a speakeasy-style eatery on West 9th Street in the Village. And she wasn’t drinking.

“Lindsay’s past behavior was the reason Sam ended things,” says the snitch. “But if Lindsay continues to do well, it will be back on between them. Sam still loves her.”

But Lohan’s not done with all the hurdles yet — her other big flaw before rehab was pills. And that got so bad, the Medical Board of California are now investigating the doctors who wrote her prescriptions.

In July, Lindsay’s dad, Michael, sent a letter to California’s Attorney General, seeking an investigation into ‘the unscrupulous doctors who over-prescribe medications.” The AG then consulted the state’s medical board and they launched an inquiry.

During her brief stay in rehab, Lohan was told she’d been misdiagnosed with ADHD, and thus given medications she didn’t really need. But that’s just the tip of the problem;

Prior to rehab she’d also been taking the painkiller ‘Dilaudid,’ a powerful stimulant called ‘Adderall’ for the ADHD, the acid-reflux medication ‘Nexium,’ no less than two anti-depressants — ‘Zoloft’ and ‘Trazodone.’ and the sleep-aid ‘Ambien.’

And then she’d go to clubs and start drinking…It’s a wonder she’s even alive.

The medical board only make inquiries public if they decide to press charges. And that can take months. We’ll update you if or when they decide to proceed with this case…
