Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively wants babies and baked goods

[HMG Celebrity News] – Although her character on ‘Gossip Girl,’ Serena van der Woodsen is a full-on drama queen, in real-life Blake Lively claims she’s more traditional and a domestic diva.

Born in LA as the daughter of actors, 23-year old Blake and her two brothers and two sisters were all raised Southern Baptist. Her mom even took her to Disneyland at least twice-a-week to have ‘time to bond.’ And all this has made Blake quite maternal, she claims.

“I want babies. Lots of babies. Of course!” she now shares with People.

Fans of the show would suggest the ideal father is her co-star, Penn Badgley, whom she’s known since the age of 11. But Blake refuses to confirm that.

“I don’t comment on my relationships, so you can skip that one!,” she says. “My anonymity is something I treasure.”

Yeah, right! That explains why she’s made nine movies, stars on a national TV show, and has given three long, detailed interviews to a glamor magazine and two mass-market tabloids in just the last month.

And despite currently promoting her latest movie. ‘The Town’ – which Ben Affleck both stars in and directed — Blake says she’s already planning to quit acting for a whole new career — Owning a restaurant.

“I want to have a brunch place, a bakery and a Southern restaurant, because my family’s from Georgia,” she says. “Then I want a place that is all about world cuisine.”

Blake already admits to being a devoted baker and attends cooking classes when she travels, to try different cuisines. She also collects family recipes. But when asked by reporters to share one, Blake wasn’t keen;

“They’re for my restaurants,” she responded, laughing.
