France Awaits New book on ‘secret life and lovers’ of first lady Carla Bruni
(HMG) – Author Besma Lahouri is set to release a book of “explosive revelations” about the love life of French First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy this month sees. The book kept under lock and key at the offices of Flammarion, a Paris publishing house, is so controversial publishers haven’t even leaked the title. Author Lahouri, known for a popular biography of French soccer player Zinedine Zidane, is in hiding while security guards protect the book. The expose apparently focuses on Bruni-Sarkozy’s secret lovers, plastic surgeons, and obsession with fame and money. The first lady famous had many rock star and rich guy ex-boyfriends including English rock stars Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton, and declared just before her marriage to French President Nicolas Sarkozy that “monogamy bores me.”  Bruni, has been in the headlines of late after Iranian accusations that she is a ‘prostitute’ who ‘deserves to die’ for supporting an Iranian woman sentenced to death by stoning for adultery.
