Lindsay Lohan’s ex-GF, Sam Ronson apologizes for her dog’s fatal attack
[HMG] – In a sad and entirely avoidable event that will probably see the responsible party face as much blame as her ex-girlfriend, Lindsay Lohan just did, Samantha Ronson has been named as the owner of a bulldog involved in a fatal attack.
At 11am local time yesterday one of Sam’s neighbors called 911 and reported that a large bulldog was attacking a Maltese in the hall of the West Hollywood building. The dog also attacked the Maltese’s owner.
By the time cops arrived the two-year old Maltese, named Tiger, was dead.
Police sources tell TMZ the bulldog, ‘Cadillac,’ is believed to be Ronson’s as his registered address is a direct match with hers. Animal services were called to the scene, but left without the dog.
Ronson was at home during the attack, but was asleep. Some girlfriends were in her apartment and told police they heard a woman scream and opened the door, but all they saw was Cadillac alone in the hall.
Of course, none had the nerve to confess they let Cadillac out.
And this has happened before — Cadillac bit another dog in the building some weeks ago, and Sam had to agree to send him to a 3-week course to make him more social. He only returned on Wednesday.
Ronson’s neighbors also say Cadillac had previously bitten another neighbor, but that is so far unconfirmed.
Now in damage control, Ronson has since used her Twitter account to express her regret.
“I feel incredibly sad and wish I could offer more than condolences, unfortunately there are no words to describe how sorry I am.” she tweeted at 6.30 last night.
In most cases like these the attacking dog is usually seized and destroyed after due legal process. If Sam even gets close to a courtroom I’ll buy Lindsay’s next movie – in widescreen.
What’s your review of this case?…

Another example of a pet owner who didn’t take the time to make sure their dog was well socialized.
Though a strange perversity, one could hardly call it a surprise that the media has flocked to pictures of Tiger, just as they have every other murdered or suicided fledgling actress or model in the history of photographic media who died before her time (can’t wait for the graphic tees and sorority dorm posters). Still, there is undeniably a bubbling, if not bloodthirsty, hostility brewing beneath all of this media madness.
Could it be that we’re (even unconsciously) looking for a metaphor here to connect to Lindsay in some attempt to make news about boring old Sam Ronson marketable?
