George Michael[HMG] – In July we reported that Wham! star, George Michael had crashed his car into a London store window.  He was later charged with possession of cannabis and driving while under the influence in regards to the crash.

George, 47,  was released on police bail to appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on August 24.  The singer has now plead guilty to driving under the influence of drink and drugs, as well as possession of cannabis.  The judge in the case has so far only slapped his hand suspending Michael’s driver’s license for six months but said the singer could face prison time.  The AP reports that tests showed he had taken gamma-hydroxybutyrate, a so-called “date-rape drug” because it leaves people groggy and powerless.

Sadly, this is not George’s first brush with the law: In May of 2007 he was charged with being unfit to drive due to drink or drugs. He lost his license for two years. On September 19 of 2008 he was arrested for possession of a Class-C controlled substance.

He was arrested again in August last year after slamming his $125,000 Range Rover into a 7-ton truck on a busy London highway.

He later admitted to smoking as many as twenty-five joints a day.

With an estimated net worth of $141-million, you’d think he’d at least hire a driver…
