Joaquin Phoenix Mockumentary Trailer “I’m Still Here” Released

(HMG) – So was it all a stunt or did Joaquin Phoenix really kind of go off his rocker? The movie trailer for I’m Still Here, by director Casey Affleck (who happens to be Phoenix’s brother-in-law), chronicles the now-retired star’s bizarre behavior, in a variety of situations, as he spends most of 2008 attempting to jump-start a hip hop career. Beside the infamous space cadet act on the Late Show with David Letterman, according to buyers who have seen the film, Phoenix is also seen snorting lots of cocaine, ordering call girls, having oral sex with a publicist, treating his assistants abusively beside rapping badly. In June, the project landed a distribution deal with Magnolia Pictures and will arrive in theaters nationwide Sept. 10. I guess were all supposed to decide if this was all a prank or not. I am expecting this film to be a total flop, what do you think?
