Mel Gibson eyewitness loses long cancer fight

[HMG] – In a sad twist of fate that could make the fight between Oksana Grigorieva and Mel Gibson impossible to bring into court, the only eyewitness to Mel’s alleged rage has died of cancer before any trial.

The unnamed woman, who worked as their nanny, was the only eyewitness to Mel’s anger before the alleged fight between him and Oksana on January 6. But she had been fighting stage four cancer for several months and finally lost her battle over the weekend, according to Radar.

The story goes that Oksana went to her son, Sascha’s basketball game that day but left the couple’s daughter, Lucia, at home with the nanny.  Mel found out and went postal. The Nanny saw him storming around the couple’s Malibu mansion and slamming doors, and was so scared by this she took Lucia into a bedroom and hid.

But the woman never spoke to Police. Nor did she make any statement supporting Oksana’s view of events. Oksana gave Police this story herself. The woman also left the house before the alleged fight.

And the Nanny had no reason to be on Mel’s side — It was she who Mel once called ‘a wetback,’ and threatened to report her to the immigration authorities for being an illegal

“I will fire her if she’s at your house,” Mel is heard saying on one of Oksana’s secret recordings. “I will make it known and fire her. I’ll report her to the f-ing people who take money from the wetbacks!”

There is no proof she was illegal, and now she’s dead there’s no case. And without her, Oksana’s case is in shreds — She has no other witness, and all the tapes cannot be used as she made them without telling Mel, and under California law that’s illegal.

What happens from here is therefore unknown. But we’ll keep you advised what comes next…
