George Clooney - Angelina Jolie

[HMG] – After a brief casting battle that saw both Scarlett Johansson and Christina Hendricks being eyed for the role, it’s been reportedly decided that Angelina Jolie will play Marilyn Monroe in a new film based on the sad movie star’s life.

Scottish author Andrew O’Hagan has now told the Telegraph that his upcoming book ‘The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog, and of His Friend Marilyn Monroe’ is being made into a film starring Angelina, 35, as the iconic actress.

He also met some of the 20th Century’s most pivotal figures, such as Marilyn’s friend and alleged lover, John F. Kennedy

Already being hailed by critics as a miracle and an impending classic, the book’s 288 pages detail how Maf had an instinct for politics, psychoanalysis, literature – and even interior design.

“Marilyn was a strange and unhappy creature, but at the same time she had more natural comedy to her than anybody I would ever know,” he observes in one story.

Maf’s owner died of mysterious causes on August 5, 1962 at the age of just 36. Her place in history is unquestioned. This book’s, however, is yet to be known…
