Kanye West gets undeserved gig at MTV Music Awards

[HMG] – Almost a year to the day since his boorish interruption of Taylor Swift’s speech at the MTV Music Awards last year, Kanye West has been booked to perform at the very same gig.

“Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, and I’m gonna let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time..One of the best videos of all time!” the 33-year old rapper loutishly announced to those in attendance at the high profile schmooze-fest on September 13 of last year.

This year’s event is scheduled for September 12, but there’s no mention yet of what West might perform. His fifth studio album – which still has no title – is due in the fall, and the first single “Power,” bowed last Thursday on MTV.

A second single is expected in the next few weeks — just in time for the show.

So here’s my question — Now it’s Kanye’s turn for some time in the spotlight, who should we get to interrupt him?…
