Drew Carey has lost 70 pounds in recent months

(HMG) – I thought Drew Carey, 52, looked a bit slimmed down a few months ago, but that was nothing.  I noticed his photo today (above left, the one on right is from January 2010), as The Price Is Right frontman showed up last night’s CBS-CW Showtime Press Tour Party, and was checking as to why he is now so slim.

The Cleveland native who was hugely popular in his self-disparaging sitcom, The Drew Carey Show, has lost 70 pounds over the past year, he claims by old-fashioned diet and exercise.  Of course the National Enquirer has a different theory, claiming back in May, that Carey underwent a series of injections of a custom made appetite suppressant administered by a Hollywood nutritionist.  In any case, I just hope he hasn’t lost the weight too fast.
