Rush Hour’s Chris Tucker gets $11-million tax bill

[HMG] – As you know, Nicolas Cage had more than his share of tax problems recently, but now ‘Rush Hour’ star, Chris Tucker is becoming a serious challenge — He owes Uncle Sam over $10,000,000.

The 37-year old Georgia-born actor, who landed a $20-million check for his role as Detective James Carter in ‘Rush Hour 2 ‘ with Jackie Chan, and $25-million for the sequel in 2007 has now been slapped with a payment demand by the IRS for back-taxes he owes them from 2001, 2002, and 2004-2006.

The list looks like this:

2001 — $4,007,794.34
2002 — $5,060,074.23
2004 — $55,544.84
2005 — $660,414.94
2006 — $1,788,080.91

Bringing his total debt to: $11,571,909.26.

And this is not the first time Chris has been behind in the payments — TMZ says the State of California also hit him with a lien for apparently forgetting to pay them $3,594,409 at about the same time.

So far, no word from Chris or his reps,  but tax evasion is a felony and brings significant jail time.
