[HMG] – With her role in ‘Salt’ now completed Angeline Jolie and her partner, Brad Pitt have turned their attention once more to realty and decided to follow their friend, George Clooney and buy a home amid the splendors of Italy.

The high-profile pair are now reported to have spent around $40-million on a spacious villa in Valpolicella — a sleepy town near the shores of Lake Garda, and home to one of Italy’s most famous wines.

“They wanted something more exclusive, and in record time to spend their summer vacation in Italy,” Realtor, Alexander Proto told Stir.

Well, they sure got it -  The home covers 18,000 square feet and boasts 15 bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a home theater, two swimming pools, a gym and several Jacuzzis.

But despite recently visiting the area with their six kids, while mom filmed ‘The Tourist’ with Johnny Depp, the couple will barely get to see their new place — They already have a $3.5 million, 19th-century mansion in the French quarter of New Orleans, and an upscale home in one of the more exclusive suburbs of L.A.

There are no photos of Brad or Angie in the new home yet, but with six cute kids and a huge worldwide profile a supermarket-tabloid spread of them in the sprawling new pad could soon be in play.

Stay tuned and we’ll keep you advised…
