Bob Barker Takes Swipe at His Replacement, Drew Carey

(HMG) – ‘Price Is Right’ daytime game show icon Bob Barker retired three years ago and was replaced by comedian actor Drew Carey. The feisty 86-year-old host who taped his last regular episode of the popular CBS game show in June 2007, retiring after five decades on national television, is not apparently happy with his laid-back predecessor.  In passing, Barker told a TMZ cameraman on Monday: “[Drew] does his show differently than I did.”  “I tried to make the show really exciting and he doesn’t do that — he just plays the games.” Not exactly a ringing endorsement, but Drew is so different than Barker, who defined The Price is Right with his suave style and good looks.  That is just not what Drew Carrey brings to the table.  What do you think, did CBS made a bad choice replacing Bob with his virtual opposite?
